FITCHBURG -- If ever there was a Thanksgiving Day football game
worthy of second -- or even third -- helpings, Thursday's
heart-pounding clash between Leominster and Fitchburg was it.
The results of the 2007 moose hunt came as a pleasant surprise to
many. Given the warm weather, which resulted in less moose
mobility, hunters experienced a 71 percent statewide success rate.
Other participants 1. Dominick Alaimo: Member of the Barbara
family. 2. Joseph Barbara: Boss of his own family. Presently called
the Bufalino family. 3. Joseph Bonanno: Boss of his own New York
family; deposed in 1964.
This is a program to grant belated diplomas to those students who
left high school do to WW II, Korean War, or Vietnam War. The
program also is open for those Japanese American citizens and
nationals who were held in the 10 prison camps (in the remote ares
of the West) until the end of WW II. This is a token step towards
healing the emotional pain
